COPELAND, Justice.
Plaintiff-appellant raises on this appeal two issues for our consideration. First, he aruges that both the Industrial Commission and the Court of Appeals erred in holding that G.S. 97-29.1 does not increase the twelve thousand dollar ($12,000) maximum recovery allowed under the August 1963 version of G.S. 97-29.
