Bouldin v. Gulf Production Co.
Court of Appeals of Texas
1Opinion of the Court
On March 10, 1922, E. J. Bouldin and wife, E. C. Bouldin, executed to H. E. McMahon an oil and gas lease on 322 acres of land in Montague county. On April 26, 1926, McMahon assigned the lease on 80 acres of the tract to C. U. Daniels, who, in turn, assigned the same to the Gulf Production Company.
E. J. Bouldin and wife instituted this suit in form of trespass to try title against the Gulf Production Company to recover the 80 acres last mentioned. And, from a judgment in favor of the defendant, the plaintiffs have prosecuted this appeal.
