Plaintiffs, a group of individuals, companies, credit unions, and trade associations affiliated with New York City’s medallion taxicab Industry, bring this action against the City of New York (the ‘“City”), the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission (the “TLC”), and TLC Chair Meera Joshi (collectively, “Defendants”), alleging that certain TLC regulations contravene the Equal Protection, Due Process, and Takings Clauses of the United States Constitution and analogous provisions of the New York State Constitution.
