On September 21, 1987, the debtor and his wife, Jeannette Borriello (the “defendant”) purchased real property located at 51 Cottonwood Court, Staten Island, New York (the “Property”) for $320,000. On October 22, 1997, the debtor conveyed his undivided one-half interest in the Property, at which they resided, to the defendant (the “transfer”).
