Plaintiff David Torrez appeals from an order of the district court granting summary judgment for defendant Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) and holding that Torrez’s signing of a release at the time of his employment termination constituted a knowing and voluntary waiver of his right to bring an employment discrimination action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981, 2000c-5 (1982).
