SEE, Justice.

Randal L. Hands appeals from summary judgments entered by the Madison Circuit Court in favor of the Health Care Authority of the City of Huntsville d/b/a Huntsville Hospital (“Huntsville Hospital”) and Dr. Norman Solliday. We affirm.

Facts and Procedural History

On February 10, 2005, Harris was admitted to Huntsville Hospital after he lost consciousness at his home. Dr. Solliday diagnosed Harris with possible delirium tremens 1 and prescribed and administered Ativan, a mild tranquilizer and antianxiety medicine, as treatment for Harris’s medical condition.
