This is an appeal hy Albert Mason Dean from a judgment of conviction of the crime of grand theft (Pen. Code, § 487, subd. 1) and from an order denying his motion for a new trial. The allegation in the information with respect to a prior conviction of the appellant of the crime of robbery, for which he served a term of imprisonment in the state prison, was found to be true. His eodefendant, Lloyd Allen Ransome, was acquitted of the charge of grand theft.
