— The plaintiff, the appellee, sued to recover upon two promissory notes given by the defendant, dated November 15, 1920, for $1,200 and $1,800 respectively. The appellee was cashier of the Panama Savings Bank, at Panama, Iowa. The notes are upon a printed form, containing the name of the bank printed as the payee. 'Above the printed name, of the payee is written the name oi appellee, so that, as the notes read, they are payable to the order of both appellee and the bank. There are no indorsements on the notes.
