This cause was heard on a case stated from which it appears that the defendant sold to the husband of the plaintiff on March 25, 1897, by article of agreement a piece of land in Clearfield county, the price of which was $1,200. The payment of the purchase money was provided for in the contract as follows: "One hundred and fifty ($150.00) dollars cash upon the signing of this agree*130ment, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the balance, with interest, payable at the rate of eleven dollars each and every month hereafter, the first payment to be made on the…
