The Legislature in 1913," 'by amending article 5693 of the Civil Statutes (Vernon’s Sayles’ Ann. Civ. St. 1914, art. 5693), changed the time for making sale by trustee under deeds of trust from ten to four years, and provided that the new limitation should apply to deeds of trust executed prior to the passage of the new act. Pri- or to 1905 there was no limit fixed by statute as to when power of sale under deed of trust could be enforced; between 1905 and 1913 the time fixed by statute was ten years.
