OPINION

OLIVER-PARROTT, Chief Justice.

This is an appeal from a conviction for voluntary manslaughter. A jury found appellant, Carlos Robles, guilty and assessed punishment at 20-years confinement and a fine of $10,000. We affirm.

Background

On April 23, 1990, at approximately 12:30 a.m., appellant, who was employed as a maintenance man with the Twin Pines Apartments located at 1113 West 25th Street, received a complaint about loud music in the parking lot.
