I. INTRODUCTION

Appellant International Rental and Leasing Corporation d/b/a Budget Rent-A-Car St. Thomas [“Budget”] appeals the trial court’s decision awarding Budget nominal damages in an action against ap-pellee Kashan McClean for damages to a car that McClean rented from Budget. Budget argues that the trial court erred (1) in awarding only nominal damages after Budget provided evidence of the appearance of the car after the accident, the market value of the car before the accident, and the salvage value of the car after the accident, and (2) by refusing to allow Budget’s…
