The parties came before the Court on January 12, 2011, for trial without a jury on the Plaintiff’s quantum meruit claim. The issue before the Court is whether the lease between the Plaintiff landlord and a tenant bars the landlord’s quantum meruit claim against the occupant of the leased space who is not a party to that lease. At the conclusion of the trial, the Court took the matter under advisement.
