The defendant, Carlos Ashe, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of murder in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-54a (a)1 and 53a-8 (a),2 3conspiracy to commit murder in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-54a (a) and 53a-48 (a),3 and two counts of assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-59 (a) (5)4 ***and 53a-*5138 (a). The defendant claims (1) that the evidence was insufficient to sustain his conviction of murder and assault in the first degree, and (2) that the prosecutor committed misconduct in closing argument.…
