Plaintiff Dawn Byes brought this purported class action against defendants Telecheck Recovery Services, Inc. (Telecheck), John D. Chaney, Randolph L.M. Hutto, and Raymond M. Emmons. Byes’ class action complaint alleges that the defendants are debt collectors and that they violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. § 1692, et seq., the Louisiana Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law, La.
