Whether a thief who is not charged with larceny may be convicted as the receiver of goods he has stolen is raised in this appeal.
Facts. We summarize the facts as found by the motion judge, who was also the trial judge. The defendant, Daniel Corcoran, knocked on the front door of Nancy Stevens’s home in East Providence, Rhode Island, in the fall of 2000. She was 79 years old and lived alone.
