The defendant, Neil Prisco, is charged with criminal contempt in the second degree (Penal Law § 215.50 [3]) and two counts of aggravated harassment in the second degree (Penal Law § 240.30 [1] [a], [b]). The defendant moves to dismiss the criminal action against him on the ground that he has been denied his right to a speedy trial pursuant to Criminal Procedure Law § 30.30 (1) (b), alleging that more than 90 days have elapsed since his arraignment.
