These two causes have been consolidated. In 76-895, defendant appeals from the denial of its motion to vacate an order granting summary judgment in favor of plaintiff, and in 77-324, it appeals the denial of its section 72 petition (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 110, par. 72). The following issues have been presented for our consideration: (1) whether the trial court erred in denying defendant’s Rule 191(b) motion to stay the proceedings until certain evidence was obtained; (2) whether the trial court erred in refusing to consider…
