Salvatore LoBuglio (“LoBuglio”) and Salvatore D’Amico (“D’Amico”) appeal from judgments of conviction for violations of the federal narcotics laws after a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
A superseding indictment was returned on January 3, 1990, charging LoBuglio, D’Amico and fourteen co-defendants with conspiracy to import multi-kilograms of *500heroin and cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 963 (Count One), conspiracy to distribute the imported narcotic drugs in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 (Count Two), and with…
