Under an order heretofore granted the inspectors of election in the first election district of the eighth ward of the city of Rensselaer were directed to *415show cause why the names of Damien Wydro and twenty-eight others should not be stricken from the registry list which is to be used at the general election in this state to be held November 6, 1917.
The application is made upon'the petition of John J. Gardiner, as deputy state superintendent of elections.
