Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Montgomery County (Aison, J.), rendered April 12, 1995, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of arson in the third degree.

In July 1994, a Montgomery County Grand Jury handed up a 16-count indictment charging defendant with various degrees and counts of arson, reckless endangerment, burglary and criminal mischief for setting fire to two buildings in the City of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, on June 8, 1994.
