This is an appeal from a conviction for violation of the Universal Military-Training and Service Act by failing and neglecting to comply with an order of appellant’s local board to report to said board for further assignment to perform civilian work at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas, pursuant to 50 U.S.C.A. App. § 456(j). Jury was waived and appellant was tried and convicted before the district court judge.
