OPINION
JOHNSON, Judge.
Ellen Joyce Oxley, hereinafter referred to as Appellant, was tried and convicted by jury for the crime of Child Endangerment in violation of 21 O.S.1991, § 852.1, in Case No. CF-94-330 in the District Court of Muskogee County before the Honorable Lyle Burris, District Judge. The jury returned a verdict of guilty and recommended a sentence of one (1) year imprisonment, in custody of Department of Corrections and a $5,000.00 fine.
