The plaintiff in this action, Edith Elizabeth McPherson, instituted a suit for divorce against the defendant, James Franklin McPherson, on the ground of nonsupport. Defendant filed an answer and cross-complaint, wherein he asked that plaintiff’s complaint be dismissed and that he be granted a decree of divorce. Plaintiff replied to the affirmative matter set up in the cross-complaint of defendant, and thereafter the matter came on for trial before the court on the issues raised by the pleadings.
