Defendant, Brian F. LaBarre, was found guilty by a jury of two counts of unlawful possession of narcotics, namely, cocaine and hashish, and one count of unlawful possession of a prohibited drug, d-lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), in violation of Minn. St. cc. 618 and 152, respectively. On this appeal from the judgment of conviction and from the denial of a motion for a new trial, defendant principally challenges the constitutional validity of a search warrant, the execution of which resulted in the seizure of incriminating evidence including a large quantity of drugs.
