Betzaida P. Jernigan appeals through counsel a March 23, 2010, Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) decision that denied entitlement to an effective date earlier than October 31, 2001, for the award of VA disability benefits for gastroesophageal reflux disease, a lumbosacral strain, and an appendectomy scar. 1 Ms. Jernigan’s No tice of Appeal was timely and the Court has jurisdiction to review the Board decision pursuant to 38 U.S.C. § 7252(a).
