CLIFFORD, District Judge.

Plaintiff in the above entitled action has moved for summary judgment in accordance with Rule 56 of the Rules of Civil Procedure, 28 U.S.C.A. following section 723c. The complaint charges that the defendants, as owners of several premises in Waterville, Maine, have demanded and received rents in excess of the maximum legal rents applicable to such premises.
