This suit was filed in the Circuit Court of Knox County, by the administratrix, seeking damages for the wrongful death of her husband, who, while running down a Knoxville sidewalk, struck an awning and died as a result. The tenant of the building to which the awning was attached, the owner of the building, Myrtle Brichetto, her husband, and the City of Knoxville, were made defendants to the suit.
