The Board of Supervisors of Hanover county filed its original petition in this Court, alleging that: (1) pursuant to the power vested in it by Code, sections 15-689 and 58-916, it had set aside designated suitable space at the county seat for the treasurer’s office; (2) it had ordered George M. Weems, the county treasurer, to remove the treasurer’s office from the town of Ashland to the space so designated; and (3) Weems, the treasurer, had refused to comply with the mandate of the board.
