Charles Allen seeks a writ of prohibition to restrain respondent court from enforcing an order compelling disclosure of the names of prospective defense witnesses in criminal proceedings pending against him. On the day set for commencement of petitioner’s trial respondent court on its own motion ordered both the People and petitioner to disclose the names of their prospective witnesses.
