This is an appeal taken by the public administrator of the city of Providence from a decree of the probate court of that city appointing an administrator for the estate of a deceased intestate. Thereafter a motion was filed by the administrator appointed under said decree to substitute as party appellant the appellant’s successor in the office of public administrator, and subsequently the appellant filed a motion to strike from the record the motion to substitute.
