Raymond E. Smith, a lineman for the Home Telephone Company of Kewanee, was killed by coming in contact with a high potential current of electricity from a wire of the Kewanee Light & Power Company. His administratrix brought this suit against said company to recover for the loss to the next of kin by his death. A judgment for plaintiff was reversed by us in Smith v. Kewanee Light & Power Co., 175 Ill. App. 354, to which we refer for a general statement of the facts. Upon another trial plaintiff had a verdict and judgment for…
