We granted review to determine when the statute of limitations begins to run in a workers’ compensation case in which the employee suffers from an occupational disease. The trial court dismissed Employee’s suit as untimely, reasoning that the statute of limitations began to run when Employee gave notice to Employer that she had an occupational disease.
