EVERETT, Chief Judge:

On January 17, 1980, appellee was convicted, in accordance with his pleas, of five specifications of larceny, five specifications of forgery, two specifications of making and delivering a worthless check, and three specifications of making and uttering a worthless check, in violation of Articles 121, 123, and 123a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 921, 923, and 923a, respectively. The military judge sentenced him to a bad-conduct discharge, 2 years’ confinement, total forfeitures, and reduction to the grade of E-l. The convening authority…
