This action was before this Court on appeal by plaintiff from a demurrer filed by defendant and sustained by the court below. This Court reversed the court below and held that the demurrer should have been overruled. Van Kempen v. Latham, 195 N. C., 389. In that case, at p. 394, is the following: “Ordinarily a receiver cannot maintain an action in another jurisdiction. As a rule, they have no extra territorial jurisdiction.
