New Britain General Hospital, Jeffrey M. Kagan, a physician, and Turgot Yetil, a physician, the defendants in the present medical malpractice action, deposed two expert medical witnesses retained by the plaintiffs, John Rolfe, George O. Rolfe and Ellen M. Rolfe. While the defendants agree that they are responsible for paying the physicians, who served as expert witnesses, a reasonable fee for their attendance at the depositions, the defendants object to paying for the time the aforementioned physicians spent in preparation for the depositions.
