State v. Pate
Missouri Court of Appeals
1Opinion of the Court
Gary M. Gaertner, Jr., Judge
Introduction
Jermaine Pate (Defendant) appeals the judgment entered upon his convictions for robbery in the first degree and armed criminal action. He argues the trial court should have dismissed the charges due to a violation of his constitutional right to a speedy trial, and alternatively that the trial court should have suppressed incriminating statements he made as fruit of being unlawfully held for more than 24 hours. Finally, he argues that there was insufficient evidence to prove that he committed *907the robbery with a dangerous instrument. We affirm.
