Petitioners Robert Blaser and Elizabeth Blaser appeal as of right from an order of the Michigan Tax Tribunal denying their petition challenging the establishment of a special assessment district for the construction of a sanitary sewer system in respondent East Bay Township. Specifically, petitioners contend that respondent failed to acquire the requisite number of signatures from landowners whose property was to be included within the special assessment district.
