On September 30, 1997, appellee Carl Jones sustained an injury to his head and neck when he fell forward into a large piece of timber while working for appellant Polk County. Polk County accepted his injuries as compensable, and paid all reasonable medical expenses as well as temporary total disability benefits. However, Polk County controverted Mr. Jones’ claim that he was entitled to benefits for a permanent partial impairment.
