Siebeckee, J.

The plaintiff brought this action for strict foreclosure of a contract given by her to John W. Wegner on the 19th day of February, 1909, for the purchase of the premises therein described. The property thus conveyed was the homestead of-John W. Wegner and his wife, Julia Wegner, prior to and on February 11, 1896, when they mortgaged it to secure the payment of a loan from the Wisconsin Trust Company. This mortgage was foreclosed by action, and the defendant Julia Wegner was made a defendant with her husband. Judgment of foreclosure…
