In an action in the Circuit Court of Rock Island County, Larry Wright and Judith Wright, plaintiffs, sought to recover damages from the City of Rock Island for water damage to the residence owned by plaintiffs, which was allegedly caused by a diversion of surface water from its natural coruse and by the alleged failure to provide adequate drainage.
