Appeal by the petitioner from an order dismissing his application for a writ of habeas corpus to obtain custody of his grandchildren, Laura May and Geraldine P. Gilmore, born respectively November 15, 1931, and November 13, 1934. The petitioner alleges that his daughter, the mother, is now an inmate of the Binghamton State Hospital for the Insane, and that the father is a sailor and if living is at some port or place unknown to petitioner.
