This is an action for a writ of prohibition under Rule 97.01 arising out of a lawsuit before Judge Moran to declare the law and enforce an injunction regarding which of two people should be the Republican candidate in a special election to fill a vacancy in a redistricted senatorial district located in Lee’s Summit ánd Southeastern Jackson County.
