A farm employee was injured in Missouri, by having his hand and leg drawn into the compressing rollers of his employer’s hay-baling machine, which he was operating. He said that he had been told and shown by the manufacturer’s demonstrator-representative that, whenever the baling twine failed to engage with the rotating rollers as a result of having become broken or of there having been an insufficient flow of hay up the conveyor, he should stand on the frame of the machine near the top of the conveyor, at a distance of 6 to 10 inches away from the pressure rollers, and…
