Suit was brought by attachment, in the city court of Irwin county, to recover damages from the Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton-Railway Company for a tort alleged to have been committed by the defendant in the handling of certain shipments of freight which had been entrusted to it as a connecting carrier, whereby the plaintiffs were injured and damaged.
