OPINION ON APPELLANT’S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

A jury convicted Appellant of murder and assessed punishment at confinement for life and a $10,000.00 fine. The Court of Appeals reversed the conviction after finding that the trial court erred in failing to instruct the jury on self-defense. Reich-Bacot v. State, 914 S.W.2d 666 (Tex.App.—Texarkana 1996). We granted the State’s petition for discretionary review and remanded the case to the Court of Appeals to conduct a harm analysis. Reich-Bacot v. State, 936 S.W.2d 961 (Tex.Cr.App.1996).
