OPINION

ROSS, Justice.

This is an appeal from a summary judgment granted in a wrongful discharge action. *426The appellant, Richard Louis Salmon, brings two points of error. First, Salmon contends that the trial court erred in finding that he lacked standing to sue because his term as municipal judge had expired. Second, Salmon asserts that the trial court erred in finding that he was an employee at will and therefore precluded from claiming wrongful discharge under Texas law.
