The State of Wisconsin appeals from an order denying its motion in limine to permit introduction of "other-acts" evidence in this child sexual assault case.
Jeske was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault: sexual contact with a person who has not attained the age of 13 years, in violation of § 948.02(1), Stats. The charges stemmed from allegations that, after engaging the victim, Tammy L., in conversations of a sexual nature, Jeske touched her breasts and vaginal area.
