Plaintiff Kiran K. Shah appeals the summary judgment for defendant General Electric Co. (“GE”) in this action alleging that GE terminated plaintiffs employment because of his color and national origin in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2(a) (“Title VII”), and the Civil Rights Act of May 31, 1870, 42 U.S.C. § 1981 (“section 1981”).
