MEMORANDUM OPINION

SAVAGE, District Judge.

This case presents a recurring issue in appeals from a denial of Supplemental Security Income (“SSI”) benefits under Title II of the Social Security Act (“Act”), 42 U.S.C. §§ 401-33 — to what extent must an Administrative Law Judge (“ALJ”) consider, treat and explain Global Assessment of Functioning (“GAF”) scores in determining a claimant’s residual functional capacity.1 The Third Circuit Court of Appeals has not issued a precedential opinion holding that an ALJ’s failure to address GAF scores requires remand.
